Its wonderful idea to up-cycle paper that we use everyday, turning it into a different product to give it a new life. Newspaper yarn is made by the women residing countryside, using old newspaper and the drop spindle. You can use the yarn to make several weaving, knitting or crochet projects.
Made from Indian newspapers by a women’s co-op, this marvelous trade enables them to support their families while finding a new and inventive way to recycle waste. If you want something a little out of the ordinary from an ethical source, this yarn makes an excellent choice.
The yarn is hand twisted from recycled newspapers.
